This morning I received news from another parent for whom I wrote their tribunal appeal; this was 33 pages and over 9500 words in length. The local authority concerned has conceded, avoiding the need for a tribunal hearing.
Since the end of January (2024) 75 cases have now conceded/ backed down in cases where I have written the original appeal or have written an extended appeal following on from the parent’s submission.
This is incredible news for all of the children concerned and has saved the parents from the stress and potential expense of an actual tribunal hearing. This has also freed up tribunal hearing time for other families.
Best wishes and stay strong,
Chris at SEN Achieve.
