This book has been written based upon my experience as an independent SEN Adviser and Tribunal Representative since 2019, in addition to the vast experience which I gained prior to this, working within local authority schools for 18 years in primary, junior and secondary school settings. During this time I held the positions of class teacher, SENCo, Head of Teaching and Learning, Assistant Headteacher and Inclusion Leader, working with every year group from Nursery up to and including Year 13.
