Aim and Purpose

All children have the right to be provided with a suitable education. They also have the right to be kept safe, to be treated with dignity, and, all have the right to be provided with the opportunity to develop and demonstrate their potential. Through my role as anan established SEN Adviser and Tribunal Representative I do all that I can to help make this a reality for as many children as possible. In addition to the paid services which I offer, in order to support families I also speak free of charge at parent groups/ forums, as well as at charitable events. Further, in an attempt to bring about much needed change to the education system, I have twice visited Downing Street. Please let me know if I can help you. Chris Hadjigeorgiou.

Background and Experience

I have been writing EHCP and Tribunal appeal applications for 11 years, and have successfully helped hundreds of families across the country to secure EHCPs for their children, specific EHCP content, and suitable school placements. I am also am the author of 'LiStEN to me - A guide to help you get the best SEN support for your child'. Over 90% of the SEN Achieve appeal applications result in the respective local authorities conceding before the tribunal hearing. Since the end of January (2024) 46 local authorities (100%) have conceded/ backed down in response to the original tribunal appeals which I have written. This has saved the parents from the stress and potential expense of an actual tribunal hearing. Through the cases which I have worked on I have secured very unique and high levels of EHCP content for children, including: - The allocation of 1 to 1 adult support throughout the duration of every school day. - The allocation of qualified teachers as full time 1 to 1 adults. - The allocation of two full time 1 to 1 adults across two different settings.  - Direct Occupational Therapy and direct Speech and Language Therapy provision. - Independent, academy and local authority specialist school settings. - Independent mainstream settings.   - Unique EOTAS packages. Prior to this role I worked in local authority schools for 18 years up to the summer of 2019, in primary, junior and secondary school settings. During this period of time I held the positions of class teacher, SENCo, Head of Teaching and Learning, Assistant Headteacher and Inclusion Leader. I have worked with every year group from Nursery up to and including Year 13. This provides me with a huge amount of experience from which I can draw upon.  This is to the extent that head teachers, SENCos, and other advocates and representatives also ask me for advice.  There are many testimonials to my work on this website as well as on the SEN Achieve Facebook page.
